Applicable to each property is the requirement to obtain:
- NGRA Ltd consent for external building work (including buildings in gardens)
- NGRA Ltd consent for the felling of any tree.
Without exception a purchaser’s solicitor will request evidence of NGRA Ltd’s consent for any work undertaken on a property.
NGRA Ltd may not ‘unreasonably withhold consent’ and when considering applications, neighbours are consulted and their comments taken into account.
Building changes

This form should be used to seek permission from NGRA Ltd for alterations or developments, etc. to residents' property.
NGRA Ltd consent is completely separate to Stratford District Council consent, and their consent must be obtained before any work can start.
Tree Felling

This form should be used to seek permission from NGRA Ltd for removal or major work on trees on residents’ property as required by the Covenants and Regulations.
Many trees on the Grange are covered by Tree Preservation Orders (TPO) or are within the conservation area. As such, consent must be obtained from Stratford District Council and from NGRA Ltd before any work can be undertaken. See http://www.stratford.gov.uk/planning/index.cfm for information and guidance provided by Stratford District Council.
